Summer in the City: Music, Drinks, Mingling on the Dequindre Cut Thursday Night

August 05, 2014, 4:05 PM

Got plans after work Thursday?

We ask because you're invited to a second annual outdoor party -- Soiree on the Greenway, with four hours of beats, alcohol, socializing and art.

It's a benefit for the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, hosted by its young professionals group, Rivière28. Photos from last year's inaugural event are at right.

"Come join us to enjoy this unique urban treasure," says your invitation to the 6-10 p.m. bash. "This year's event takes place near the Lafayette Street bridge."

Sponsors are Wheelhouse Detroit Bike Shop, Blue Nectar Tequila and Mammoth Photo Booth.
