Prince Fielder to Start in All Star Game; Cabrera, Verlander Named to Team

The Tigers Big Guy Prince Fielder has been voted to start at first base in the 83rd All Star Game in Kansas City on July 10.

It's Fielder's first year with the Tigers and in the American League. He's batting .294 and has 12 home runs and 52 RBI's.

Additionally, the Detroit Free Press reports that Tigers Ace Justin Verlander was named to the team as was slugger Miguel Cabrera, who will be a reserve.
