An eleven-bedroom mansion in the Boston-Edison neighborhood that came on the market in March with an asking price of $465,000 has sold for $395,650 cash, according to Curbed Detroit.
The home has 9,638 square feet and was built in 1915 for Walter O. Briggs, the entrepreneur that was once the sole owner of the Detroit Tigers.
This was the house that NPR reported on in April with the headline "Million-Dollar Mansion Has A Bargain Basement Price."
That story reported the house had sold for $65,000 in 1976.
