The Nation's Last Free-Standing Blackberry Store is in Farmington Hills: But Why?

OK, let's face it. It was not all that long ago when you thought it was pretty cool to pull out a Blackberry and check your email during dinner or while standing in line at the drug store.

That being said, the Detroit News visited the Blackberry store in Farmington Hills, which happens to be the last free-standing Blackberry store in the nation.  In this age of iPhones and Droids, why bother having a Blackberry store?

Blackberry is fighting to remain relevant in the ever-competitive cell phone market.

Reporter Dale Buss's observation about the Farmington Hills store: The lone sales person may be the only person lonelier than the Maytag repairman.
