Video: Chris Christie and Rick Snyder on the Campaign Trail in Detroit

The governor's race in Michigan is getting hot, with Democrat Mark Schauer running neck-and-neck with Republican incumbent Rick Snyder.

To help our nerd governor, Republican Governor's Association Chairman Chris Christie of New Jersey came down with Snyder to The Urban Bean on Griswold in Downtown Detroit to help drum up support.

To no surprise, someone in our state's strongest Democratic stronghold found out about the Republican incursion, and a small but vocal contingent of union activists, residents, and members of the Michigan Democratic Party met outside the coffee shop to voice their displeasure with the policies of the Grand Old Party.

In the video below, we got some protesters' opinions about the event, asked Michigan's governor about the tightening gubernatorial race and asked the New Jersey Governor whether he'd like to announce anything.
