Free Press Correction Is So Funny It Makes National News

In its corrections column, the Free Press proclaims that it "corrects all errors of fact."

No kidding. A correction this week made national news when it appeared on Jim Romanesko's blog, a popular journalism site. 

The correction said:

In a story last week on the masquerade party Theatre Bizarre, two photographs were incorrectly identified as burlesque dancer Roxi d'Lite. In the version at freep.com (which has since been corrected) the photo showed Lou Lou la Duchesse de Riere. In the story in Thursday's play section, the photo was of Bunny Buxom.
