Crain's: Fifth Third Bank Moving Regional HQ From Southfield To Downtown

Kirk Pinho of Crain's Detroit Business reports Fifth Third Bank is moving its regional headquarters from Southfield to the One Woodward Building in downtown Detroit.

Sources told Pinho the company is moving its regional operations from Southfield to Detroit. The regional office is moving into 47,000 square feet from the 2.2 million-square-foot Southfield Town Center to the 360,000-square-foot building that Dan Gilbert purchased in 2012 for $8.35 million from Lehman Bros. Holdings Inc, one source said. The building was designed by Minoru Yamasaki.

Jack Riley, senior vice president of marketing and advertising at Fifth Third, said Monday he couldn’t “share any news at this point.”
