Wikipedia Prank: Harbaugh, UM Coach

December 02, 2014, 12:05 PM

Wikipedia, for all practical purposes, has replaced those bulky books known as the World Book Encyclopedia. The downside is that some people can go in and change the facts.

That's what happened Tuesday to Jim Harbaugh’s Wikipedia page. Someone wrote that he is the head coach of the University of Michigan, according to WWJ.  Wishful thinking?

Harbaugh is coach of the San Francisco 49ers.

The prank comes shortly before Brady Hoke, the current U-M coach, is set to meet with the school's acting athletic director Tuesday afternoon. There's some speculation Hoke will be fired.

By noon, the page had been corrected.
