Are vegetarians sexy?
Well, South Lyon's vegan and gluten-free food truck, Shimmy Shack, seems to think so.
Eater Detroit writes that Shimmy Shack has released a "Sexiest Vegetarians in Michigan" calendar featuring male and female amateur models in pin-up style settings and poses. It sells for $16.99.
The calendar is meant to raise the profile on vegan food, owner Debra Levantrosser tells Eater.
"At Shimmy Shack we aim to dispel the myths that vegan food is bland and boring," she says. "Shimmy Shack shows that vegan food is sexy, irresistible, and makes you feel good. We wanted to show the same thing about the people who eat this way."
