Detroit police says that a man in a Santa suit is behind bars after shooting two men during a confrontation at a downtown gas station, Halston Herrera reports on WDIV-TV (Channel 4).
The shooting happened about 2 a.m. Sunday at the Speedway station at Jefferson Avenue and I-75.
Officer Adam Madera says the men got in an argument over "Santa's girlfriend, Mrs. Claus."
Madeira says one of the other men ran to his car, and 26-year-old in the Santa suit apparently feared the other man was going to get a gun, so he opened fire.
The two wounded men are expected to recover.
