Shortly after, some eight miles away, a shot came through a window and struck and wounded a 5-year-old boy who was inside the house, the News reported. Police weren't clear if it was a drive-by shooting or a random bullet. He was listed in critical condition.

Then Then around  5:45 p.m., near John R and Winchester, a Camaro was headed north on John R when a burgundy car came up from behind and opened fire, wounding a woman, who is six-months pregnant, and a companion, The News reports.
