Nikita Sanches and partner Jessica Imbronone
Metro Detroit will be looking for a little love on national TV tonight.
Sylvia Rector of the Detroit Free Press writes that chef-owner Nikita Sanches of Hamtramck's Rock City Eatery and his girlfriend, Jessica Imbronone, will appear on CNBC's "Restaurant Startup" to make a pitch for funding in what he hopes will eventually turn into a national chain of pie shops.
The one-hour episode airs at 10 p.m.

On the show — hosted by restaurateurs Tim Love of Nashville and Joe Bastianich of New York —Sanches and his girlfriend, Jessica Imbronone, are billed as a "rock 'n roll couple from Detroit." Their team is called Rock City Pies, after the pie-baking pop-up business Sanches ran in Ferndale before opening Rock City Eatery restaurant.
