Wall-to-wall Obama paintings.

That about sums it up.

Mark Stryker of the Detroit Free Press reports that New York artist Rob Pruitt will display nearly 2,300 of "The Obama Paintings" he's done at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit in Midtown beginning May 15.

The Freep writes that Pruitt made a small painting of President Barack Obama on the morning after he was inaugurated into office in 2009 and kept on churning them out after that.

No self control or just passion for the subject?
