The Young Turks, which promotes itself as the largest online news show in the world, covering politics, economics, pop culture, social trends and lifestyle, visited Detroit.

Host Cenk Uygur delivers no new insight in his report, and focuses on the blight. Granted, there is no shortage of blight in the city, and it's still a very big problem.

But he oversimplifies it all, trying to imply that in every neighborhood, or in almost every one, people live right near or next to boarded up homes.

He gives a shout out for loose coney dogs, but not much else.

He goes the old, tired traditional route and tosses in video of the Michigan Central Train Station and the Packard Plant, failing to mention any plans to develop those sites.

He gives a pretty bleak impression of the city, and makes it look pretty hopeless.

Take a look at the video and see what you think.
