Oscar Winner J.K. Simmons to Toss First Pitch on Opening Day

Michigan native J.K. Simmons, who won an Oscar this year for best supporting actor in "Whiplash," throws the ceremonial first pitch on opening day April 6 at Comerica Park.

Simmons, 60, is a Tigers fan. He grew up in Grosse Pointe and moved to Ohio when he was 10.
