Royal Oak Research Firm Moves to Detroit

April 20, 2015, 1:37 PM

Royal Oak has lost another business to Detroit.

A retail analytics firm, "reach | influence," has relocated company headquarters to the Madison Building in downtown, DBusiness reports. The company has about 20 employees.

“As Detroit-area natives we always wanted to play a role in the reviving central city,” says Rich Helppie, reach | influence board chairman, according to DBusiness. “The beauty of this move is that Detroit is the best place for a fast-growth company like (us) to bring together a client centric organization, local capital investment, and an operating culture that will foster the company’s future success.”

The company describes its mission:

With the shopper at the center of our universe, we use data to drive everything we do for our retailers. Our “big data” solutions give our retailers the ability to understand the ins and outs of shopper behavior.
