WWJ's 5 Best Movies Filmed in Detroit

Even before Gov. Jennifer Granholm signed the Michigan Film and Digital Media Incentive program into law in 2008, filmmakers saw Detroit as a great place to make movies, WWJ notes.

Michael Ferro, a freelancer for WWJ, compiles the best films made in Detroit -- though Deadline reader Matt Maul notes that the '87 version of "Robocop" was just set in Detroit, not filmed here.

Ferro takes a leap of faith with the Batman film being released next year, but how bad could it be?
