The Earth Shakes in Michigan

When we hear about earthquakes in the U.S., we normally think about California.

An Saturday, it hit much closer to home.

At 12:24 p.m.,  a 4.2 earthquake struck about five miles southeast of Galesburg, just east of Kalamazoo.

Metro Detroit felt a modest jolt for five to ten seconds, WXYZ reports. No damage was reported, the station adds.
