Fox 2 reports that Michiganians will likely get a chance to vote on a statewide ballot measure to legalize marijuana.

But as Fox 2's Charlie Langton reports from the Mackinac Policy Conference, not everyone is in favor, including Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan,

"I'm a former prosecutor, I'm against it,"Duggan said.

Ditto for some Detroit City Council members.

"We don't need another drug issue in my community," said Detroit councilman Scott Benson.

"What's going to happen when they have to get a job," asked Detroit councilwoman Brenda Jones.

Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel is also against it.

"No," Hackel told Fox 2.  "I just don't support it."

Of course, some do.

"They might as well, man," Rep. Harvey Santanta (D-Detroit) told Fox 2. "Bottom line is, too many guys are being hemmed up on weed charges being thrown in jail. That's costing Michigan tax payers $35,000 a year."
