The Cinetopia International Film Festival, which will serve up the best feature-length dramas, comedies, and documentaries from the world’s best film festivals, begins next Friday, June 5, and runs through June 14.
This year, the 10-day festival will show more than 70 films at more than 150 screenings in downtown Ann Arbor and in Detroit’s Cultural Center.
Some of the films this year include:
- Best Enemies: A documentary about the landmark Gore Vidal/Wiliam F. Buckley Jr. debates of 1968.
- Fresh Dress: A film featuring Pharrell Williams, Nas and Kayne West.
- Set Fire to the Stars: Starring Elijah Wood in a drama about poet Dylan Thomas.
- The Cut: An award winner of the Venice Film Festival.
