Eater Detroit: 12 Food Trucks Worth Noting

There was a time not so long ago that food trucks were equated with those lousy, convenient store sandwiches and candy bars.The food truck has come a long way.

Brenna Houck of Eater Detroit lists 12 notable food trucks in Southeast Michigan, among these:. 

  • Stockyard: Sandwich offerings include:  Korean beef, broccoli melt and pork shoulder.
  • Twisted Mitten: Serves halal food and one of the offerings is a the lamb bacon BLT.
  • Detroit 75 Kitchen: Offerings include garlic cilantro fries, falafel, and shawarma. 
  • Ricewood: The Pacific island-style barbecue trailer in Ann Arbor features rice bowls topped slow roasted meat, spicy, salty finadene sauce, and a side of cucumber salad.
