It's downright scary to see this happen so often in such a short period.

For the third time in a week, multiple people were shot at a block party.

Matt Helms of the Detroit Free Press reports that five people were shot late Sunday around 9:30 p.m. at a block party on Detroit's east side near Gratiot and Whitmore.

The five victims, -- ages 14, 18, 29 and two 19-years-old -- were all initially listed in temporary serious condition.

The Detroit News reports that on Friday four men, 18, 19, 20 and 22, were shot and wounded at a block party on Stronghold Court. Then a week ago, one person was killed and 11 others were wounded after a shooting at a block party outside of a community center on Dexter near Webb.
