Bert’s Warehouse, which houses the legendary jazz restaurant in Eastern Market in Detroit, was sold at an online auction last week for $1.985 million, Crain's Detroit Business reports.

Bert Dearing of Bert's lost the building to a foreclosure and was renting it.

He said he isn't going anywhere.

“I’m gonna be here,” he told Crain's. “Everything is in divine order.”
