LA Musicians Make the Move to Detroit

Detroit's hip quotient just went up.

Los Angeles-based musicians Wes Borland, guitarist for the rap-metal group Limp Bizkit, and fiancée Carré Callaway, moved into their Arden Park home Thursday, Melody Baetens reports for The Detroit News:

The pair and their adventure renovating a historic Detroit mansion in the Arden Park-East Boston Historic District will be filmed for a show on the DIY Network that’s slated to premiere next year. Other details are under wraps for now.

“It’s phenomenal that artists on the national scene are joining the longtime creative synergy that the Detroit music community has,” Boston Edison resident and musician Michelle May tells The News. “We are well-known for having premier musicians from a variety of genres, so Wes Borland will fit right in.”
