The NBC travel series, "1st Look" with Audrina Patridge,  who starred in the reality MTV show, The Hills, is shooting in Detroit.

Grace Keros, owner of  American Coney Island in downtown Detroit, said a crew from the show was taping in her restaurant Wednesday from about 8:30 p.m. til midnight.  No word yet on when the episode will air.

Keros said Patridge interviewed her and the crew videotaped cooks making hot dogs and people coming in after the Tigers game at Comerica Park. Patridge also got behind the grill and cooked.

"They wanted to see how the hot dogs are made and the history; why it's such an institution," she said.

The show, which airs after Saturday Night Live, describes itself this way:

1st Look” is the Emmy-winning, lifestyle show that takes you to the country's hottest destinations for amazing eats, thrilling adventures and crazy fun nightlife. Each week, join Audrina Patridge as she takes you along for the ride!
