In the past month, police have reported two sexual assaults on the Oakland University campus in the Rochester Hills area in which the victim met the suspect on social media, The Oakland Press reports. No arrest has been made.

One incident occurred sometime between 1 and 2 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8 in West Vandenberg Hall, according to an alert issued on the school’s website Monday evening, Paul Kampe of the Oakland Press reports. The incident was not reported until days later.

The first incident occurred Sept. 8. That took place in the parking lot of the school’s student apartments, but was not reported until Sept. 15, the Oakland Press reports. The suspect was not located and the department later closed the case due to a lack of information, the paper reported.

Again, in this incident, the victim met the suspect on social media.
