Besides the action sequence above and at right, filmed on Fort Street at Griswold in August 2014, we see a few other quick views of Detroit in the three-minute film trailer below for "Superman vs Batman: Dawn of Justice."

It was posted Wednesday on YouTube and already has nearly 3 million views.

A sweet aerial overview of downtown is at 0:43, right after a front-page mock-up of the Gotham Free Press with a familiar font used for the newspaper's name.

There's also a dramatically lit night shot of Michigan Central Depot.(2:25) as the creature Doomsday appears to descend from it.

We welcome comments below from sharp-eyed viewers who spot any other local views.

The Warner Bros. blockbuster directed by Zak Snyder, which stars Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Afleck as Batman, is due to hit theaters next March 25. The trailer also shows Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Holly Hunter as a U.S. senator.

Shooting locations included Brush Park, Corktown, the Cultural Center, the former Wayne County Courthouse downtown, Nicholson Terminal & Dock Co. in River Rouge and Broad Art Museum at MSU. Pontiac's Michigan Motion Picture Studios served as a home base and site for interior scenes.

The production qualified for $35 million in state incentives to offset spending here during six months.
