Deputy Police Chief Steve Delount talked to the press about the bright future of former Wayne State University student Kajavia Globe, 24. Now police say she's dead.

Police discovered a body on Monday afternoon in a backyard of a home in the 18000 block of  Fielding just south of Seven Mile, Randy Wimbley of Fox 2 reports. They confirmed Tuesday morning that it is Globe.

She last attended WSU in winter 2012, according to a university representative who contacted local media Tuesday with a request not to identify her as a current student . "The last semester she was registered was nearly four years ago," says a message to Deadline.

Police are looking for this masked man who used her ATM card.

There were no obvious signs of trauma, Delount said. A coroner will determine the cause of death and the identity. She was clothed and there were no signs she was sexually assaulted, Fox 2 reports.

Police distributed a photo of a masked man using her car and her ATM card at Fifth Third bank on Telegraph off Seven Mile.

Globe was last seen Friday afternoon, Fox 2 reports. Her gold 2003 Chevrolet Impala was found Monday morning near Keeler and Chatham. Evidence of an apparent crime reportedly was in the car.
