Following two days of deliberation, a Macomb County Circuit Court jury on Monday convicted James VanCallis  Jr. in the high-profile, 2014 murder of April Millsap near Armada, WXYZ reports.

The jury convicted him on all counts, which included first-degree murder, kidnapping and attempted sexual assault, WXYZ reports. The first-degree murder charge automatically carries a life sentence without parole.
