Reporter Paul Schwartzman has a  Washington Post article headlined: "Psychologists and massage therapists are reporting ‘Trump anxiety’ among clients."

He writes:

Hand-wringing over Trump’s rapid climb, once confined to Washington’s political establishment, is now palpable among everyday Americans who are growing ever more anxious over the prospect of the billionaire reaching the White House.

With each Trump victory in the GOP primaries and caucuses, Democrats and Republicans alike are sharing their alarm with friends over dinner, with strangers over social media and, in some cases, with their therapists. A recent Washington Post/ABC News poll showed that 69 percent of Americans said the idea of “President Trump” made them anxious.

That anxiety appears evident to Windsor immigration lawyer Eddie Kadri. He being bombarded with calls from around the U.S. from people inquiring about moving to Canada as Trump chalks up victories in the primaries, according to CBC News.

Kadri says he has received 70 or 80 calls since the beginning of the Republican primaries, including 20 following Super Tuesday, Lisa Xing and Greg Layson report. Calls have come from across the country, the attorney says.

"[Donald Trump] won his first primary, and I got a couple of calls. He won his second primary, I got a couple more calls," Eddie Kadri told CBC News. "Since Super Tuesday, it's been insane.

"The concern is the voices of the middle are being drowned out by these politics," he said. "People are reaching out and looking at Canada as an alternative. They simply don't see a future for them in the country they love."

Similar calls came when President George W. Bush was re-elected in 2004, Kadri says, but not nearly as many as in recent days.
