The Detroit Tigers are set to begin the 2016 regular season on Tuesday night in Miami, taking on the Marlins. So we could think of no better way to get ready for the season than a conversation with the longtime TV voice of the team, Mario Impemba!
Mario joins the show to discuss a number of topics: the Tiger he thinks could be the key to this season, the mini-switch he and Dan Dickerson will perform between the TV/radio booths this year, and how nervewracking it can be to watch your son up at bat in a big college game. Then we'll test Mario's knowledge of his own first name with a lightning round of "Name that Mario!" (Spoiler alert: his Saved By The Bell knowledge needs quite a bit of work.)
