Ann Arbor's Laith Al-Saad of The Voice Will Join GM River Days Festival

Laith Al-Saad of Ann Arbor came in fourth place this week in the final competition of NBC's "The Voice."

It's not the end, only the beginning.

The Detroit Free Press reports that the guitarist-singer has been added to the main stage for opening night of the 10th annual GM River Days festival. He join a national lineup that includes the B-52s, Patti LaBelle, SWV alongside dozens of metro Detroit acts.

River Days runs from June 24-26 by the east downtown RiverWalk with three stages of music, a stage of children’s entertainment and traditional attractions such as the Tuskegee Airmen air show, the Freep reports.
