Beyonce, who performs at Ford Field on Tuesday night, has helped raised money for Flint water debacle victims.
Parkwood Entertainment, her firm, gave United Way of Genesee County a check for $82,234 on Monday, Adam Graham writes at The Detroit News. The money came from fans given an option to contribute to the Flint fund when buying concert tour tickets.
Additionally, Beyonce's team said that 14 Detroit-area high school students were chosen to receive help with college expenses and tickets to Tuesday's concert.
