When it comes to the downtown landscape, there's not a lot of visually-grabbing buildings, which should make the Little Caesars headquarters stand out all the more.
Louis Aguilar of the Detroit News reports that the new, nine-story headquarters, to be built in the Woodward parking lot south of the Fox Theatre, will have 14-foot-tall glass windows shaped like slices of pizza. The current headquarters is in the Fox building.
Construction for the new headquarters, Little Caesars Global Resource Center, is expected to begin this summer, the News reports. It will house 700 employees, and will have ground-floor retail on Columbia Street.
