Well, so long Daily Dinette. We barely knew you.

After less than a year, the burger/breakfast joint at 280 W. Nine Mile Road in Ferndale closed on Monday, reports Brenna Houck of Eater Detroit.

Kramer Restaurant Group of Chesterfield Township, which owns the dinette and the neighboring restaurant, Pop's For Italian, confirms that the Italian joint will expand and consume the Daily Dinette space, Houck writes. The restaurants shared a 10,000-square-foot space previously occupied by Buffalo Wild Wings and Twisted Shamrock,

Eater reports:

Dinette was initially heralded as promising late-night option for Ferndale’s bar crowds and industry professionals, serving food 24-hours a day. But shortened hours seemed to suggest that the experiment wasn’t bringing in the volume of customers necessary to keep staff on ‘round the clock.

The restaurant group also owns One-Eyed Betty's in Ferndale.
