HBO's John Oliver Comes to Detroit's Fox Theatre in December; Tickets Aren't Cheap

John Oliver, star of HBO's "Last Week Tonight With John Oliver," is coming to the Fox Theater for two nights -- Dec. 30-31 at 7 p.m.

Prepare to pay  more than usual for a comic.

Prices are $105 to $1,060. The cheapest main floor seat appears to be $143. The average main floor ticket costs about $150 to $200.

By far, Oliver is one of the funnier comics on TV, and arguably the funniest if you put him up against Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon and Conan O'Brien.
