Tricia Kortes, 46, has anger issues, particularly when it comes to cake and ice cream.

You might recall she became a bit infamous in June when she drop-kicked her child's custom-made birthday cake at Kroger in Bloomfield Township because she didn't like the design. Prior to that, she had an assault incident involving a co-worker.

On Monday, she was sentenced in Royal Oak for a July 2015 incident in which she struck a worker behind the counter at Ray's Ice Cream in Royal Oak after learning they were out of Mackinac Island Fudge, WDIV's Nick Monacelli reports.

The judge sentenced her to two years of probation, over $800 in fines and fees and ordered her to continue serving her  300 hours of community service she got from the birthday cake incident, WDIV reports.

After her attorney noted at the hearing that his client "has garnered media attention for some reason," Kortes told the judge the media is casting her in a bad light and that she has received anger management counseling. The judge told her her record speaks for itself.

“I have completed the anger management class and I've been continuing to complete therapy,” Kortes told the district court judge, according to WDIV.
