The college football regular season is over, so we dialed up Harold Shelton of the Big Ten Network, regular guest on the One Seat Over podcast.

Shelton recaps his time in Indianapolis for the conference championship game, and tries to explain why the game's victor lost out on a playoff berth to a team that didn't even qualify to be there.  Host Joey Yashinsky also wonders why Michigan can't figure out how to use Jabrill Peppers on offense.

Big Ten hoops is touched on with discussion about Miles Bridges possibly jumping from MSU to the NBA after one collegiate season, and whether John Beilein has enough talent to do anything of significance this year in Ann Arbor.  Wrapping up the show, Shelton tries to explain the fascination with shrimp cocktail in downtown Indy.

It's always a good time in the One Seat Over studios when Harold Shelton visits, so enjoy today's Big Ten sports full-court press.
