Original preview, Jan. 12:
Detroit Restaurant Week, which first launched in 2009, returns Feb. 3-12 after not being held last spring or fall.
Three-course meals cost $29 or $39 per person, depending on the participating site. All restaurants will have vegetarian options.
There's no word yet on which restaurants, and how many, will participate. When available, information will be here
The event has competition, Metro Times dining editor Serena Maria Daniels reports:
Last fall, several restaurants that had been long participants of the event organized their own spin-off promotion, dubbed Motor City Restaurant Week.
It's not clear whether those eateries, including stalwarts like Traffic Jam & Snug, The Whitney, and Cliff Bells, will be involved in next month's series (which is organized by Paxahau).
