It's a natural promotion -- as well as a generous, thirst-quenching one.
Comedy Central offers to buy a cold brew at any of 24 selected local bars Tuesday night between 10 and 11 p.m. (If at least a half-dozen of your favorites aren't listed below, you need to know Detroit or Hamtramck better.)
Drinkers needn't necessarily watch the debut of "Detroiters" on the cable network at 10:30, though that's the giveaway's goal.

"Comedy Central is celebrating the launch of their new series, Detroiters by toasting the city of Detroit with a premiere night Happy Hour celebration," an announcement says, adding:
Not only is this show set in its namesake city, it’s shot on location in Detroit, the co-stars and creators (Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson) are Detroit natives, and it’s inspired by these two creators’ experiences growing up in The D.
As a "thank you" nod to the city, Comedy Central will celebrate the premiere by buying a round of beer.
