The salted vanilla toffee shake must be tasty, we figure. Likewise the Shack Stack double burger.
We assume they're dee-lish because we don't wait in around-the-block lines just to be an opening day patron, whether it's at Shake Shack, Wahlburgers, Calexico or Nike. The wares will taste, fit and cost the same after the Day 1 crowds.
But that's crazy talk to lots of people, as Thursday's jammed Shake Shake debut confirms. The day-long line makes us wonder who's so eager to wait nearly an hour, maybe more, to buy grub from a national chain's newest store during its first hours.
So we posted a playful Twitter poll inviting theories guesses cheap shots about who lined up. (Yes, it's garnished with house-made snarky sauce, including a swipe at our country's tweeter-in-chief.)
