Is U-M QB Denard Robinson The Best College Football Player In The World?

The eyes of football fans across the naton are on University of Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson.

This season is Robinson's last opportunity to help lead Michigan to its goals, according to Angelique Chengelis of the Detroit News.

Although the Wolverines are coming off an 11-2 season, including a victory in the Sugar Bowl, they perceive last season as a disappointment because they missed out on the Big Ten championship, she writes.

This also is Robinson's last opportunity to achieve his goals at the college level. On a broader scale, that might include a Heisman Trophy and setting national and conference records, but the smaller scale is what has defined his offseason.

Robinson has been working on the little things that make a good quarterback great. Now entering his second season in offensive coordinator Al Borges' pro-style offense, Robinson said he has a better grasp of reading defenses, timing and footwork.
