Chris Rock, who delivers biting social commentary in a very funny way, performs all weekend in Detroit. But that's not all. Here are more interesting things to do. 

Friday

Detroit Gin and Vodka Festival: Drink up. The inaugural Detroit Gin and Vodka Festival offers a taste of some of the world's top Gins and Vodkas. Friday, 6-10 p.m. Shed 3 in Eastern Market. Food is extra. Tickets: $45. Details.

Belle Isle Family Day -- The Detroit Historical Society's fourth annual Spring Into Belle Isle Family Day includes free activities and make-and-take crafts at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum, as well as the chance to participate in a Belle Isle Road Rally. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Info

313 to the 514 Detroit/ Montreal Choreography Expo: Fourth annual Choreography Expo, featuring the study of creative back and forth between Detroit and Montreal. Chris Rock: Grammy and Emmy winning comedian Chris Rock brings his “Total Blackout Tour 2017” to the Fox Theatre. Friday, 8 p.m., Saturday 7 p.m., Sunday 7:30 p.m.  Tickets.

Detroit Tigers: The exciting thing is you never know which Tigers team you'll see. One day the team scores 19 runs, the next day 0.  They play the White Sox this weekend. Friday, 7:10 p.m., Saturday., 1:10 p.m., Sunday 1:10 p.m.
