Bogdan Tarasov's Bucharest Grill has a new location.
"The fourth outpost of the popular Detroit chain debuted on Thursday afternoon following a last-minute inspection and almost immediately attracted a line of hungry customers," posts Eater Detroit editor Brenna Houck.
The latest site is on Livernois in Northwest Detroit. Houck writes:
The Avenue of Fashion’s shawarma shack is the second largest location behind East Jefferson, owner Bogdan Tarasov tells Eater.
The red brick building features a similar format to other satellite locations, with a walk-up counter located in front of the open kitchen area. The Livernois Bucharest seats 50 patrons with a mixture of wood booths and high counter seating.
Bucharest is known for its garlicky grilled chicken pita wraps stuffed with veggies and French fries, but boasts a broad dine-in and carry-out menu with items like falafel, hot dogs and burgers.
