NBC late-night host Seth Meyers, who regularly gives President Donald Trump a tongue lashing at the start of his show, performs Saturday night at 8 p.m. at the Fox Theatre.
Meyers headlines the 25th Annual Comedy Night hosted by Metro Detroit’s only food rescue organization, Forgotten Harvest. Tickets are still available.
The annual event began in 1992 with the support of television, film star and local native Tim Allen and Mark Ridley, who owns a comedy club in Royal Oak.
Meyers is an Emmy-winning writer and current host of “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
Meyers first upped his profile in the entertainment world when he appeared on Saturday Night Live. In 2011, he emceed the White House Correspondents Dinner and took shots at Donald Trump, who was in the audience.
