For the second time this month, Martha Stewart has returned to Detroit.

Earlier this month, Stewart addressed a Cobo Center event for women business owners. On Wednesday, she attended a conference, "Gateway '17" at Cobo, which was hosted by China's Alibaba Group to help U.S. businesses get on its platform to sell products. Alibaba, headed by founder Jack Ma, is an ecommerce company and the largest retailer in the world.

“I applaud Jack Ma and Alibaba so much for being here in Detroit, which is like a hotbed of innovation and American makers,” Stewart told CNN journalist Lisa Ling during an interview at the conference, according to the business news website, Benzinga.
