The "Detroit" movie, which is about the 1967 riot and the brutality and death at the Algiers Motel, slipped to 19th in box office traffic over the weekend with $850,000 in revenue, according to Box Office Mojo.

Director Kathryn Bigelow's drama was 13th last week, and has been a big disappointment in earnings. It was showing in half the number of theaters this weekend compared to the previous week.

The $34-million film has grossed $15.5 million so far.
