Coming to Midtown: The Cass Corridor Museum

These days it's known more as hip and happening Midtown.
But to many others, it's still the Cass Corridor.
MLive reports that a Cass Corridor Museum (not a Midtown Museum) is expected to open at 4470 Second Ave. by Christmas.
MLive reports that Cass Corridor resident Elias Khalil, one of the museum's co-founders, came up with the idea after he got good feedback from a book he co-wrote on the neighorhood.
MLive writes:
It's expected to include both permanent and traveling exhibits that honor the area's rich artistic history, the stories behind people who lived there over the years, local polticial activism, and news events that helped shape the area.
