Michigan State Police Investigators have two big questions to answer: Was Roseville District Judge Catherine Steenland the driver in a hit-and-run accident and was she intoxicated?

The victim told police that the driver — believed to be Roseville District Judge Catherine Steenland — was operating the vehicle erratically "as if she was highly intoxicated" after she left the crash site last month, reports Chrinstina Hall.

The victim tells investigators the woman at the wheel of the 2016 Dodge Charger appeared "to be very distracted, continuously looking down and adjusting her radio to high volume," according to Roseville Police Department reports obtained by the Free Press through the Freedom of Information Act.

"A lady in a red Charger wasn't paying attention and looked drunk side swiped my car," the  30-year-old Roseville man wrote as part of the crash report. He got the license plate number and followed the other car to a house in Roseville which belongs to Steenland, the Freep reports.

What makes the claim all the more credible is that Steenland, has a 2008 conviction for impaired driving while she was a judge.
