Could it be an indicator of improving times?

Crain's Detroit Business reports that revenue for Detroit's three casinos rose slightly in August by 1.6 percent over the same period in 2001.

Of all the casinos, MGM Grand Detroit did the best, reporting $49.8 million compared to $38.1 million at the MotorCity Casino and $29.1 million at the Greektown Casino.
